Can You Tell Me a Story?
Storytelling has been around for a very long time. From cave paintings to text messages storytelling has changed a lot over the years. Technology is a great way to share stories and this week I used Thinglink to show the process of the water cycle.
Thinglink is a great tool to use in the classroom for teachers to make a picture for interactive learning, or for students to show their learning by making their own Thinglinks. It is very easy to use and what's great is that when you go to share your Thinglink you can get the embed code and embed it into your own website or blog post. The big downside of this site, however, is the fact that the free version is very limited and most of the interesting features require a paid membership.
Overall, Thinglink is a great website to use even though the features for the free version are very basic. But maybe getting the paid membership is worth it if you really see the benefits of using this website in your classroom.
