Healthy vs. Unhealthy Foods Activity

Hello everyone. This week I created a Quizlet to test students' knowledge on the difference between healthy and unhealthy foods. Quizlet is a great website for digital flashcards but I used it for this part of my lesson plan as an online matching game. Check out my teacher blog post here for more information.

Summary of Learning

Taking this course, Principles of Instructional Technologies, has really showed me how much effect I can have on my students. I've learned about so many new technology tools that I had never heard of before that could really benefit me in the future. Food Groups!

Hello all. This week I created a resource to teach food groups to kids. I found images and used Microsoft Word to create an image to upload to Thinglink . Although the free version of Thinglink is very limiting I worked around it. I used information from the MyPlate teacher resources website  to create my Thinglink.
